Hope a lovely May Day/ Beltane was enjoyed by all. In our forests, seemingly overnight, the trillium bloomed. The magnolia tree’s flowers are already browning. The crab apple is bright and tense like a cat, waiting any moment to spring into flowers.

Poetry month is dead and gone. As is tradition, I present to you The Laziest Summer Scavenger Hunt. Each prompt consists of one word. Free write, journal, fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, paint, sculpt, sew, cook, dream, hot glue, needlepoint, interpretive dance. Do what ever moves you. Or feels happy. Or cathartic. Or inspired. Or blow it all off and drink beer on the Apple river, that’s okay too. It’s all good. Merrily we go. I love you all.
